4. Insurances and Travel Documents
- Travel to and from chosen retreat country is not included in the package prices and is the responsibility of the client.
- All participants are stongly adviced to have international travel insurance to cover any possible cancellations, travel issues, injury or illness.
- Travel documents: Each guest is responsible for the procurement of necessary travel documentation such as a passport. This will normally need to have a validity of at least 6 months to enter the chosen retreat country. Please contact your local embassy if you have any concerns regarding the chosen retreat country entrance requirements.
- A Salty Life recommends purchasing a policy with a “Cancel For Any Reason” clause. This should protect your trip payment from any unpredicted circumstances. Please make sure you read the fine print on what it covers so that you are sufficiently protected. We highly recommend buying your travel insurance at the same time or very soon after making your initial deposit with us. Further, make sure that your travel insurance covers sports such as surfing as not all insurances covers extreme sports.
